Merchant Facilities

Merchant services refer to the payment terminal and/or software used by the business to accept credit card and EFTPOS or debit card payments. The system then settles the payments into the account at the financial institution that issued the payment terminal or software; this typically happens on the same day (same day settlement) or overnight.

AFSA provides several options for parish clients depending on the functions required of the terminal.

Funds can be settled direct to your AFSA account overnight. If you have Xero accounting, direct feeds with your AFSA account, your general ledger system will receive a feed with the transactions. This whole process can provide an automated solution for the handling and recording of transactions.
